Avery DeWitt is a Myofascial Therapist specializing in relieving pain, restoring movement and revitalizing the nervous system. He uses a customized approach for every client based on the client's personal needs, movement screenings, and precise body readings. Avery has sought out expert mentorship in the field of Advanced Myofascial Therapy and is currently studying with Til Luchau in Boulder, CO. Additionally, Avery is a Health Coach certified by the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute. As a health coach, Avery guides and empowers his clients with science based information in the areas of nutrition and wellness. His goal is to assist his clients in reaching and maintaining their optimal health. Avery is a licensed Massage Therapist and graduated from Harris School of Business in Cherry Hill, NJ completing a 900 hour massage therapy program.

Fascia is the tough, fibrous connective tissue that envelopes our muscles, nerves, bones, organs etc. In my form of therapy, I work with the muscles(myofascia), bones, tendons, and ligaments. It is more than massage, diving deeper into the structure of the body and working with all aspects of our energy. Robust fascia is hydrated, mobile and flexible. After injury, repetitive use or postural imbalances, fascia may become sticky, creating tightness, pain and restricted movement. Fascial restrictions that are improperly cared for may result in chronic pain, tension, and permanent movement limitations. If you are an athlete experiencing these symptoms, preventing you from performing at your maximum level, you may have fascia that is bound up and needs to be released!
As a Health Coach, certified through the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute, my role is to educate, motivate, and guide you on a path to optimal health. I believe in healing the body from the inside-out and holistic nutrition (backed by scientific research) plays a very BIG role in that process.
